Privacy

The short version

Evano stores the reminders and notes you give it so it can remind you and answer questions about them. It is not an advertising business: your content is not sold, not rented, and not used to build a profile of you for anyone else. You can export everything or delete it permanently at any time.

What we store

• • Your account email and, if you set one, a display name.
• • The reminders, tasks and notes you capture, including anything you dictate.
• • Items you explicitly save to AI Memory so future reminders have context.
• • If you join a family, the shared reminders and assignments in that family.
• • Notification preferences, including quiet hours and your timezone.
• • Subscription status. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.

What the AI does

To turn a sentence into a structured reminder, the text you capture is sent to our AI provider for processing. The same applies when you ask the assistant a question or when Evano builds your daily plan. This processing is what makes the product work.

The model proposes; it does not act. It cannot send email, post anything, contact anyone, or make a purchase. Any change to your data that the assistant suggests is shown to you and applied only when you approve it. Nothing is written to AI Memory without your explicit confirmation.

Who can see your data

You can. Every record is scoped to your account with row-level security enforced by the database, so another account cannot read your data even if the interface were wrong. The single exception is a family you have joined: reminders you share there are visible to that family's members, by design. Your personal reminders and your AI Memory stay private even inside a family.

Your controls

• • Export. Download everything — reminders, memory, family membership, preferences — as JSON from Settings → Privacy.
• • Delete. Deleting your account removes your data. It is a real deletion, not a hidden flag.
• • Leave a family. You can leave at any time; your personal data goes with you.
• • Turn off proactivity. Notifications and the proactive engine can be disabled without losing your reminders.

Processors we rely on

We use Supabase for database, authentication and hosting of backend functions; Anthropic for AI processing; Stripe for payments; and Vercel for hosting the web app. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
